Welcome to Spectrum Medical Evaluators, Inc. (“Spectrum,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at spectrummedeval.com, our mobile application, and all related online services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use.
2. About Spectrum
Spectrum is a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) practice providing independent medical-legal evaluations, disability assessments, and related workers’ compensation services primarily within the State of California
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
The Services are not directed to children under 13.
4. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
5. Informational Use Only
All content on the Services is provided for informational and administrative purposes only. It does not constitute:
- Medical advice
- Clinical treatment
- Diagnosis
- A physician–patient relationship
- Legal advice
Medical-legal determinations are conducted only through formal QME/AME procedures, not through this website.
6. No Emergency Services
The Services cannot be used for urgent or emergency medical situations.
If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 immediately.
7. HIPAA & Protected Health Information (PHI)
Spectrum complies with HIPAA and applicable privacy laws.
The Services are not intended for transmission of PHI.
Do not upload, transmit, or include medical records or sensitive health data through general forms.
PHI received through QME evaluations is processed offline through secure, compliant systems.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree that you will:
- Use the Services only for lawful, appropriate purposes
- Not attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- Not upload malware, harmful code, or automated scraping tools
- Not impersonate another individual or entity
- Maintain the confidentiality of any credentials you use
- Ensure your device and network are secure
We may suspend access for violations.
9. User Submissions
When you submit information through forms or communication tools, you represent that:
- You have the right to provide the information
- The information is accurate
- The submission does not include prohibited content
You may not submit:
- PHI outside designated secure channels
- Financial account data
- Illegal or harmful content
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights
We may remove any submission at our discretion.
10. Appointment Requests & SMS Communication
By requesting an appointment or opting in to SMS communications, you consent to receive:
- Appointment reminders
- Evaluation notices
- Administrative messages
Message frequency varies; standard carrier rates apply.
You may opt out any time by texting STOP.

11. Mobile Opt-In Data Usage & Restrictions
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, consent records, or text message metadata with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third party, except with our contracted SMS service provider solely for the purpose of enabling and delivering Spectrum’s text messages.
12. SMS Terms of Service
By opting in to receive SMS/text messages from Spectrum Medical Evaluators, Inc., you consent to receive recurring automated messages related to appointment reminders, evaluation updates, administrative notices, and service-related communications. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.
Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of receiving services.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. For assistance, reply HELP. Only these SMS commands are recognized for opt-out and support requests.
Spectrum Medical Evaluators, Inc. is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. You may receive a final confirmation message after opting out. To re-subscribe, text START.
Use of the SMS service is subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
13. SMS Privacy & Data Handling
All SMS-related data collection, usage, and privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy. By using our Services or opting in to SMS communications, you agree to the SMS Privacy Policy provisions outlined there.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on the Services—including design, graphics, text, images, software, and logos—is owned by Spectrum or its licensors and is protected under U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
